The Booby Birds Have Landed!
After 3 months of postponements, Managing Director Linda Taylor’s skydive finally went ahead on Saturday 3rd September as she took flight in a tandem skydive for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, on the Boobybirds flight 002.
Linda said of the experience “it was scary, emotional and truly amazing as we fell from the aircraft at 14,000 feet and skydived for one minute before the instructor pulled the parachute; we then glided down with a couple of twirls for good measure before landing safely.”
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is a pioneering charity dedicated to the prevention, treatment and ultimate eradication of breast cancer. They fight on three fronts: research, campaigning and education, and their aim is to bring together the best minds and rally the support of all those whose lives have been, or may one day be, affected by the disease. The result will save lives and change futures – by removing the fear of breast cancer for good.
Linda has made a fantastic contribution to this cause by raising, with gift aid, over £26,000!
